WHAT'S NEW AT RHYL MINIATURE RAILWAY, OCTOBER 2003
|
SUCCESSFUL GALA WEEKEND Our gala weekend on 9th/10th August 2003 attracted over 1,300 visitors to Marine Lake. Our visiting locomotives were 4-4-2 Sutton Flyer and the Sutton railcar No 4, from Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. We ran Flyer with six coaches each day - the first time since the 1960s that the railway had run a train as long as this.. Cagney No 44 was also going round, as the pictures show. Pictures by Richard Shaw, Norman Spilsbury, John Myers, Simon Townsend. |
