A group of over 60s of Hextable who meet most Thursday afternoons from 2:15 until 4 pm at St Peter's church.
'Hymn Sandwich'
To date we have had two very successful 'Hymn Sandwiches'! Around 40 of our 'more senior' members and friends got together for an afternoon of hymns follwed by tea.
The only complaint was not enough singing - and this was after over half an hour! This was followed by a lovely afternoon tea.
We'll be doing it again soon - so keep in touch!
We start with tea and a chat followed by a varied programme which includes talks, music, slides and the occasional quiz. We also have a summer outing and a Christmas Party.
