Student-Course Reps 

The Union provides extensive student course rep training to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to become an effective representative.

We would urge you to attend as it is a good forum to meet other reps, discuss and share ideas, ask any questions and pick up lots of useful tips (and you get a free lunch!)  Dates for  Student rep training are as follows:

Biological Sciences, Engineering and Physical Sciences    -    Sat 8th November 

Humanities, Social Science    -    Sat 15th November 

Environmental, Medical and Health Sciences    -    Sat 29th November 

All facilities and divisions    -    Wed 12th November 

..

The Union also provides other specialist training for reps in departments who are undergoing Teaching Quality Assessments, although this only applies to students on taught courses.  This year the Departments of Town and Regional Planning and Electrical & Electronic and Automatic Control and Systems Engineering are to be assessed.  The Union will be in touch with reps from these departments nearer the dates of assessment.
