Budgie Much like Poldo and Dusty, I have no idea where the nickname came from.
(Maybe something about birds of prey swooping on their victims perhaps ? ) Roger was our Bass player, and a remarkably talented one at that. He played a 3 necked bass, which considering he only had two hands was quite a feat , and had more foot pedals than the organ at St Paul's Cahtederal ! Still - the end more than justified the means as listning to any Wakeman concert will testify. |
