1. Maximum number of 5 parties per player
2. Each player selects 15 candidates from those listed as standing in the 2005 General Election. See the BC Seat by Seat link to choose candidates.
3. A player may only select 1 candidate per constituency.
4. A player can select no more than 5 candidates from any one national party.
5. All entries must be received by 4pm on Wednesday, 4th May.
6. All entires will be sent by e-mail to the organiser. The form below can be used, or a manually written email can be sent.
7. Points for each party will be accrued as follows:
- 3 points for winning a seat
- 0 points for 2nd place
- -1 points for 3rd place or lower
- 2 points for each complete 5% swing towards your candidate's party in their constituency compared to the 2001 election
- -2 points for each complete 5% swing away from your candidate's party in their constituency compared to the 2001 election
8. You can make 2 alterations per entry prior to the closing submission time.
9. A player who submits 2 or more entries cannot have more than 6 candidates shared between any 2 entries.
10. All email addreses received will be kept confidential by the organiser, Email addresses will not be used or sent to third parties,
other than to advise players of acknowledgements of new or amended entries and the result.
11. The winning team and a full list of results will be announced on or shortly after the result of the UK general Election is announced on May 6.
This competition is for entertainment only, no prizes will be awarded.
