You are now in a dark cave, with a bright circle of daylight from the south almost blinding you. The cave itself is perfectly circular, and appears to be made of very smooth marble, which raises two points in your mind:
1. it is not a natural formation, but has been made by some form of intelligence
2. (more importantly) it is very difficult to walk on.

You also find it very difficlut to breath because the air is so thin due to the extreme altitude of the cave (actually you would now be dead without oxygen, as overlooked by the original author) but inside your wallet you are carrying your lucky dramatic licence.
