The second blight was even worse than the first - too terrible to speak of. The Brontitalls - walked! They went for strolls. They jogged. They marched, they ambled, they competed in five hundred metre hurdles. The Brontitallians walked through great cities, wandered into small wine bars to have lunch with girlfriends, played footsy under the table.

And she would say how she had been walking here, strolling there, wandering into shops, maybe trying to buy a pait of...some thing. You know, watchamaycallits.

What went wrong? Suffice it to say that the Brontitallians, now evolved into birds, have sworn never to walk on the ground again.
