MatM in Live Webcast Feb 19

Martha and the Muffins, in the form of Martha Johnson and Mark Gane, performed a one-hour live webcast of their set from the Drake Hotel, Toronto. This took 
place on Saturday Feb 19 at 2:30am GMT. This was the first time they had performed some of their material in nearly 20 years. After the audience had been 
warmed up by the Blue Raincoats, MatM performed mainly an acoustic set: Mark was on acoustic, bass and electric guitar, mandolin and backing vocals, Martha 
on clarinet, keyboards and vocals.

The order was:

5. Paint by Number Heart (segwayed with Danseparc)

7. Garden in the Sky

13. You Sold the Cottage

There were 2 songs I don't think I've heard before - "Only You" and "Garden in the Sky".

Unfortunately I had no means of recording this. Probably just as well - the recepetion for the first half was OK, but the second half was only very 
intermittent which was a great shame, because it was fantastic to be able to witness a live performance. I took some screen shots, but the quality was too 
low to be useful.

OMG - soon be the 25th anniversary of Echo Beach. It seems like only yesterday we were reading about their 20th anniversary!
