    Team Rocket Extreme

    Introduction
Team Rocket eXtreme (TRX) is a rocket-only combat game. As you wander around levels, you can pick up different types of rockets that can create some serious damage. There are also Tech powerups to be had, as well as various items

TRX features a unique matrix style special effect feature, which creates slo-mo action at regular intervals and allows players to make great leaps into the air. To stop those campers out there, is a little ant-camping protection facility. Also the unique "extreme" feature increases the potency of your weapons.

To change the default keys as listed below, use the ingame menu "setup / controls / trx".

    Rockets
Use next weapon key ("]") to switch between different rocket types that you have collected:

Nuke rockets are a one-hit kill opton. Make sure you are no-where near when this hits your target.

Lightning rockets will zap any opponents standing anywhere near your rocket's path.

Vortex rockets will drag any opponent into your rocket's path - a sure-file kill.

Quake rockets do what they say on the label - unique to Quake, even though they are eponymous!

Cluster rockets release a clutch of grenades on some very short fuses

Positron rockets make a very nasty enduring explosion

Flame rockets turn your opponents into fireballs

    Railguns
The server can select that you are using railguns rather than rockets:

Rocket pick-ups don't apply to railguns.

All Techs can be used by railguns.

The Blister Tech allows railguns to fire though walls.

    Tech Power-ups
The following Techs can be collected:

Accel (default 1) - increases your fire-rate, and the speed of your rockets.

Homing (default 2) - locks your rockets onto your opponents' body heat.

Multi (default 3) - lets you unleash 3 rockets at a time.

Blister (default 4) - fire your rocket then hit "B" and watch your rocket trun into 4.

Regen (default 5) - slowly boosts your health upto 150.

Ricochet (default 6) - bounce your rockets off walls to go round corners.

    Pick-up items
Press "x" to see what items you have picked up:

Kamikaze (default k) - press this at low health and your opponent has only a few seconds to frag you or get out of your way. Press k at strong health and kamikaze will automatically be activated at low health.

Cloak (default i) - use this to disappear before your opponents' very eyes.

Teleport (default a) - get yourself out of danger quickly.

Thunderbolt (default s) - give your opponents a shock.

Gravity Boots (default g) - now you can leap over moderately-high buildings in a single leap.

Booby trap - pick this up, and the next item you touch will leave a nasty surpise for someone else.

Healthbox - quickly racks up your health to a seriously high value.

Turbo armour - does for armour what a healthbox does for health.

Scanner - check whose lurking behind the next corner.

Jetpack - fly around with unlimited fuel.

Lightning grapple - get to those hard-to-reach spots that are otherwise impossible.

Laser trips - stop opponents from enering parts of your level

ECM module - defend yourself against homing modules

You can use "next item" (default "Q") and "use item" (default "E").

    Game Effects
Check out these exclusive gameplay features, which are all on by default :

Matrix: re-creates the slo-mo action from the film, with a pulsating music track, at regular intervals in the game.

    Server command: \seta trx_matrix 0|1

Extreme: increases the damage of your weapons, makes all pickup objects in the game respawn more quickly, and enhances the power of healthbox and turbo armour.

    Server command: \seta trx_extreme 0|1

Anti-camping: gives a nasty surprise to anyone who thinks they can camp.

    Server command: \seta trx_anticamping 0|1

Low-health chunder: literally makes you cough your guts up if you've taken too many hits.

Game type: choose between rocket arena (0) rocket v rail (1) or rail arena (2).

    Server command: \seta trx_gametype 0|1|2
