Name:				Chat 1.0 (Beta)

Description:			LAN and Internet Online Chat Application 

Installation instructions:	Unzip the distribution file into a folder on your PC, then double-click on chat.exe. 

				 - Use the options button to set the ports (recommend use 1000 for both local and remote).
				 - Use the add button to add users. In a LAN you can use the network name of the PC. Over
				   the internet you must use the IP address of target PC. Names you add are stored in the
				   PC's registry for next time you log on.

Pre-requisites:			Visual Basic 5.0 or later must be installed on your machine. This installation package was
				not created using the VB installation wizard. 

Files:				chat.zip		distribution file, containing:
				chat.exe		executable file

Copyright:			Software is freeware, but copyright remains with the author, Pete Thompson. You may use
				this software frely for your own use, but not re-distribute it without the author's
				express permission.
