Waiting to enact this scene, a real tension developed
- like a real fight was coming. It can get truly
competitive at times. Some real racial hatreds can
come to the fore," says Studi. "And I have to tell 'ya, in
that valley, some really did, there were some broken
ribs, broken bones..." He laughs aloud. "I have to say,
it doesn't hurt your acting. When it comes in close like
that, the blood really does run faster, adrenaline flows.
