John has been flying about 3yrs now.He met David at a local exhibition and decided he would like to try his hand at aeromodelling. He was no stranger to radio control as he used to race power boats at competitions around the country,since then he's built quite a few models and manages to fly them all when he has the time. Two grandchildren take some of his time along with gardening and caravan holidays and when he's not doing any of those he works part time at a nursing home as a caretaker/handyman. He is a fun man to fly with as long as you can take his practical jokes . eg:- like pulling your hat down over your eyes as your flying your model.
