Mike is an electrical engineer who tries to fly model airplanes when he can.He first started 'flying' about 40 yrs ago with KeilKraft rubber powered models and free flight gliders,he also dabbled with Jetex but got burnt fingers so He gave that up. There was a natural progression to control line planes from stunt 'Peacemakers to Razorblade' flying wings. About 30yrs ago he tried radio control,single channel rubber powered escapment stuff. There was a rest then while 'Girls' came along.Photography,and Amateur Radio was tried, holds a callsign of G8IC for his troubles.Back to Radio Control with multy-channel stuff now. Flying powered funfly and gliders with a tendency to slope soaring now , ( you don't need all that smelly fuel and stuff ). Not a Great builder or a fast one but he has a couple of very good friends in Steve and David who like to keep there hand in by helping out.That is one reason he has the time to build this Web Site...
