	Rock House The house and gardens have been in the ownership of our family since 1946. The Climbing and Caving Centre was established in 1979, it is set in ten acres of unique grounds with our own limestone cliffs and caves. Chudleigh Rock and the surrounding area is an S.S.S.I. and has been designated as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

INTRODUCTION

Our aim is to provide a friendly, professional and safe experience while endeavouring to create the most amenable environment possible for participants.
We invite you to try a unique experience that is fun, challenging, educational and above all safe. What makes us different is our own and very beautiful site. Our ten acres of grounds with limestone cliffs, caves and trees have been imaginatively utilised to create a perfect environment to provide a wide variety of activities.

	We have carefully utilised the quarried and natural cliffs to create an ideal learning resource without spoiling the environment or causing conflict to users of already existing climbing facilities. We have created a perfect venue for experiencing the challenges of rock climbing and abseiling at all levels. Unlike most other providers we offer the use of a wide variety of climbs and abseils available for our use alone. This eliminates the often common necessity for endless waiting to use popular routes and ensures maximum activity.
