SEA TRAVERSING

Torbay's apparently inaccessible cliffs, coves and zawns offer a chance to explore where only a few dare to venture. Climbing sideways (or traversing) along the sea washed limestone just above the high tide mark, is great fun; it is exhilarating and allows you to visit a wild, forbidden environment in absolute safety. The rock is hot and the whole experience has a Mediterranean feel to it.   The climbing is of an easy standard, the friction superb and the rope protection pre fixed, but this does not detract from the feeling of pure excitement as you climb round that next hidden corner.
