We are :

Kate who works in the local history department of the London Borough of Enfield Council.

David who works as a teacher in an SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) school in Haringey another London Borough.

We live in New Barnet within easy reach of the Sainsbury supermarket and several pubs.

Having a web page seems like a good idea. However, first there are the technical problems - it is not as easy as people make out, particularly if there isn't someone on hand to give advice (and if your attention starts to wander before you get to the bottom of the guidance page, with 23 more stages to go).
