It seems strange writing about yourself in the third person, but such are the demands of catering to a worldwide audience.
In July 2002 David had his fiftieth birthday, his best present was a balloon flight which took place in August. This started from Knebworth house in Hertfordshire and at the whim of the prevailing winds, ended in a field on the London side of the M25 motorway about 50 minutes later. If you have never flown in a balloon then you should (but find someone else to pay).
I have a lot of photos taken from the air but until I get around to scanning them these, digital, images will have to do.
