The Royal Air Force Yacht Club.

The Club was formed in 1932 at Calshot, the Royal Air Force seaplane base on the Solent. It moved to the present premises in the fifties. Nowadays it is an orthodox yacht club open to all and offers a warm welcome and convivial surroundings.

For some time now the RAFYC membership has not been based entirely on RAF and ex-RAF personnel. Our members come from all walks of life and join the serving and ex-service members of all three HM Forces to form a successful private yachting fraternity.
