Plans


All of the following modifications will be made to the car before it returns to the road.
I also plan to make further changes in the future as time and money allow.
Engine
- Rover 3500 V8 SD1.
- Holley 390cfm vacuum secondary carburettor.
- Offenhauser inlet manifold.
Exhaust
- SD1 cast iron manifolds.
- Twin-pipe system.
Transmission
- SD1 V8 manual bellhousing, flywheel and clutch.
- TR7 5-speed gearbox.
- Standard gearbox crossmember mounted further back.
- Shortened propshaft.
Suspension
- TR8 type front subframe.
- 200lb uprated & lowered springs.
- Spax on-car adjustable shock absorbers.
- Uprated (harder) bushes.
- Anti-dive kit (lowers front anti-roll bar mounting point).
Brakes
- TR8 front discs, callipers and pads.
Electrical
- Relocate battery to boot.
- Comprehensive alarm/immobiliser system.
Body
- Works rally front spoiler
