we did." |

College |
"The inspiration for the track? I was up late watching
CNN's video footage the night of September 11 on their web site. This music just came to
me as a kind of soundtrack to the surreal images that were played over and over. The
underlying drone in the piece signifies a jet engine. Fuel, along with one other track,
was written on September 11 and a reworked version will be included on our upcoming single
'Lift'. Fuel is typical of the style of music we were writing in the mid to late eighties,
predominately influenced by early OMD. " |

The Centroid / A.O.T.L. |
OMD Forum regular
The Centroid has kindly supplied two
tracks.
"The Centroid is the name I give to my solo projects and A.O.T.L. is the name of the
band I have with my brother. Requeim for Alan Turing was part inspired by Sealand where as
Poetry and Solid State has earlier poppier tunes like Electricity and Enola Gay as
influences." |

simply state that it's about people with multiple personality disorder
(which should just about suss out the chorus then ...)."
