FAQ
In case you are wondering about
anything on my site, here is an FAQ for you on Peachie Angel.

Q: Why did you change
the name of your site from 'Yum Yum Sugarplums' to 'Peachie Angel'?
A: I just got fed up with the name. X3 I didn't
feel as if it expressed the character of my dolls, and now that
I believe that I'm stuck with a particular style (angelic wings,
halos, etc) I decided to give the site a name to match the personalities
of my dolls. But yeah don't worry; this is probably the only time
I will change the name.

Q: Why are your updates
slow/rare?
A: The server is on my dad's laptop. And I only
see him every holiday. T_T Sooo... yeah- when I'm not at his house
I send him a big, detailed list if intructions on what to update/change/add
to my site. This takes an awful long time to write and verify,
plus- it takes a long time for dad to carry out the tasks himself.
He used to be able to update the site quickly because he didn't
have a job, but now he does have one so he has much less time for
things like editing this website. BUT DON'T WORRY!!! Just because
I don't update doesn't mean I don't pixel doll. I doll frequently!

Q: Can I be your sister
site?
A: This is really, really tricky... I am generally
not a fan of sister sites. I don't like the way you are limited
to having only a handful of close dolling friends because of
them. So now I do NOT become sister sites with someone who is
a doller and
wants
to
be my
friend.
I will simply be friends with her/him and not bother with the
whole sister charade, because I want everyone to have the same
chance of being my friend as anyone who asks to be my sister.
^_^ By this I mean- yes of course we can be friends!! But why
do we have to become sister sites to do that?

Q: Wait, so who do you
become sister sites with?
A: Dollers that I admire- dollers whose art
I really, really like. I use sister sites in a weird way- to
show my deep art appreciation. It's only after those terms have
been met that the sisterly bond begins to form. It makes me
very happy that I can be friends with such amazing artists...
^_^ That's what sisters are to me- good, close friends who's
friendship has grown with the love of each other's artwork. <3

Q: Why
can you only update the gifts section every holiday?
A: Aww, I'm really sorry. I have been getting
gifts quite a lot recently, and with my updating problems I really
do not find the time to upload a gift every time I recieve one.
However your gift will come up on the site eventually- besides
most of the gifts are for holidays anyway. You just have to be
patient.
^_^;;

Q: Why do none of
your dolls/pixels have transparrent backgrounds?
A: Because I use Microsoft Paint, it is
impossible to give my works a transparrent background. I
can't be bothered using the magic wand tool on all my dolls.
>_<;; But maybe some day I'll get round to making the
dolls transparrent... *cough*

Q: What
program do you use to make your dolls and
pixels?
A: Although I have Photoshop 6.0, I always just
use Microsoft Paint. I've used Paint a lot since I was a kid
so it is what I feel most comfortable to work with, even if it
is a very simple program. However if I save my files as a GIF
the pictures are wrecked, so when I go to dad's I use his Photoshop
to re-save my dolls/pixels as GIFs there. Ahh, the inconvienince
of it all. :p

Q: What program do
you use to make your website?
A: I use Dreamweaver MX, a very powerful
website-making programme which does all the html for you,
so all you have to do is click stuff, etc. It's very handy.

Q: Can we do a link
exchange?
A: Awwww sorry... No.... The links I choose
to put on my website are sites I really like and sites which
are by my friends. So please don't mail me asking
to link exchange, because I won't. Unless you're a doller
I like, or you're my friend. XD
Q:
Can I change anything on the base (ie skin colour, eyes, pose,
etc)
A: Sure! Go ahead! You may change anything of
the base (well, not completely, because then you should
just make your own! lol)- let it be something to help
you get started, not something you have to be careful to keep the same.
Edit the base as much as you need to in order to make your doll.
It
is best if you remove the copyright symbol from the base
once you have made a doll from it, but you still must
always give credit.

Q: Can
I adopt your dolls even if I do not have a website?
A: Certainly! You do not not have to have a site
to adopt any of my dolls, but please only adopt them. Do not do
anything to them and/or claim them as your own. I am trusting you
to adopt them because you like my work, and I
thank
you for
respecting and appreciating it.
