NOTICE BOARD, Summer 1998

WALK CHANGES

JULY: The walks on the 12th and 26th July will be swapped with Alan doing his Bacup Round on the 12th July and Walter his local walk on the 26th July. Starting times for each walk remain as in the booklet.

AUGUST: Alan Johnson will be leading an extra walk on Saturday 8th August for those who do not go on coach rambles. He will be doing the Whitworth Round, a walk of 10 miles. If this is successful, it will pave the way for other such walks on the Saturday before coach rambles next year. Meet at the car park just below, and opposite, the Travellers Rest in Britannia at 10.00 a.m.

DECEMBER: Gretchen Pyves, a regular attender on our walks, has filled the gap in our calendar on the 13th Dec. She will lead a 10 mile walk of the Chew Valley Horshoe. Meet at Kay Street at 9.00 a.m.
