Challenge of a LifetimeThe Mount Kenya Experience
![]()
If you’re want something big - I mean really big - something that
represents the challenge of a lifetime, The Children’s Hospital Appeal
are the people to contact. From the 11th - 19th September 1999, they
are organising a trek from Nairobi to the heights of Mount Kenya - all
16,345 ft of it via the ‘Corkscrew Route’, a gradual ascent that
minimises the threat of altitude sickness and allows you to get the
most from the spectacular views. This is a charity appeal so you’ll
have to get sponsors, plenty of them, and the requirements are that
you will need to have a high level of personal fitness. For details
of what you need, contact Louise now, at:-
Appeals Office on 0161 276 8700. Have you got what it takes? You never know!
