There is a wide range of designs, with something for most radio interests and construction abilities. These kits are for people interested in analogue radio - so no micro-processors or software defined radio here! You can start with a small project or build your own complete station. The circuitry is what I concentrate on with the aim of maximising 'performance' for whatever you decide to spend. Most of the kits can be easily adapted to add facilities etc because of the simple mechanics and the wide range of accessories. Feedback from customers on both the Lydford and the Berrow is very encouraging. Both any band 20 - 80m. Former is phone SSB TCVR, latter is CW DC TCVR.
The revised AMU Mk5 is the latest kit addition - it has had to be updated because the parts for the old coil are no longer available. In other respects it is essentially unchanged from before.
