Bobby's Dazzlers!

Bobby uses three horses for serious eventing. They are:

Jen is a 16.2hh bay thoroughbred cob cross. She is the centre's most versatile horse. She is used for schooling, usually for heavier or more experienced riders, and she is also used for RDA. She has a long career of eventing behind her but, at 15, she is nearing retirement from events.

Ziggy is a 17.2hh handsome chestnut hanovarian gelding. He is new to eventing but has had some success this year with Rhian. Unfortunately, he injured his hock so was unable to compete at Pembrey this year. However, when fully fit he is a force to be reckoned with. He's fiery but fun and used in the school for more experienced riders.

Oliver is an impressive 16.3hh Irish draught/thoroughbred cross. He's a beautiful dappled grey, with four black legs and a silver tail. In eventing terms, he's done little to date but at 8 years of age he has time on his side. He competed at pembrey with Bobby and went clear in the cross country and show jumping - a good start.

Oliver is used in the school for more experienced riders and heavier riders.

Ollie excelled himself in the Gower Event held on August Bank Holiday, August 30th. Bobby commented that he was a little too interested in his surroundings during his dressage test but went clear in the jumping and cross country to finish first in his class!

Sonny is a 16hh TB chestnut gelding. He is nine years of age and about to enter the competition circuit with Rhian. He has already been entered for three competitions and has done himself much credit. Ove the winter Rhian has been working on his jumping and has attended clinics run by John Winter. Sonny is a very flexible horse and has the ability to do well.
