Wendy Bush
Wendy works part-time at Clyn Du and has done so since she was 16 years of age.
Wendy's riding experience goes back to her youth and she bought her first horse, Saffron, at the age of 15. She fell for the 15.2hh dark bay mare and found herself on a sharp learning curve! Saffron was only 2 years of age and, not knowing any better, Wendy broke her in. Saffron was a three quarter thoroughbred with one whit hind sock and no other markings. Saff was put in foal as a three year old to a thoroughbred 16.2hh dark bay called Better By Far. The result of the liaison was Ricky, a beautiful colt with a star, snip and three white socks on his hind legs and near fore.
Sadly, Saff is no longer with us but Wendy has fond memories of the mare - and a full photo album to prove it!
