Capabilities
We have many years'
experience in one-to-one development activities ranging from constructing
personal development plans, helping to actualise personal growth plans and
dealing with personally challenging issues.
1. Personal Development Planning
In order to ensure that limited development resources
are used in the most effective way, planning the development needed by the
organisation's supervisors and managers requires in depth analysis of those
needs and matching them to cost effective solutions which will lead to
performance improvement.
2. Growth Planning
If the company is going to grow its own senior managers
they need to know how to develop their existing skills and abilities into those
needed for more senior positions. This can be accomplished by a personal audit
of existing capabilities, followed by an analysis of future possible moves. This
is an activity best accomplished by a skilled coach from outside the
organisation who can work objectively with the managers to achieve a rational
and timely programme of development activities.
3. Dealing with difficult issues
Many managers find themselves in the position of needing
objective help in the solution of internal issues but are unable or unwilling to
use existing people within the company. An external coach can provide that
sounding board without implying any censure.
