March, 1986 George Milburn, Campbell, Ian (age 9) and Stuart (age 7) Watson The week was most memorable for Ian's double jump. It began impressively enough, but unfortunately for the state of everyone's lunch, which he was carrying, ended very badly.

March, 1987 Campbell & Stuart Watson, Sandy, Juliet, & Miles MacCalman, Sandy, Susanne and Gillian Taylor, Lisa Farrell. The whole team were, secretly, delighted that the expedition to do the Tortin Black was cancelled due to poor weather!

Stuart in Flight The Professor of Actuarial Mathematics, John McCutcheon, did enough to warrant honorary membership if only by inventing the name by which we have been known ever since. What is the definition of an actuarial mathematician?
Answer: Someone who finds the hurly burly of chartered accountancy too exciting.
The Professor's much used French was not even up to ordering the right colour of wine in the restaurant!
This was the famous occasion when George Milburn ate all the afternoon tea cakes, in the chalet. Details of the aftermath on request.

March, 1992 Campbell, Ian & Stuart Watson, George Milburn, Mike & Neil Hughes Memories of walls of snow being dumped from the hotel balcony on unsuspecting passers by below. The same powder once again exposed flaws in the techniques of some, all right all, members.

Ian takes off George Milburn was red carded for suggestive remark to chalet couple. Vallee Blanche run completed without loss of any team member.
This was the year that snowboarding was introduced to the Equipe.

March, 1997 Campbell Watson, David Sands, Bill & Colin Hogg, Sandy & Kate MacCalman, George & Morag Penny. Young, newly wed Colin horrified (a) the feminists in the company with his references to "the wife", (b) the other young men in the young men's sleeping room with his snoring and (c) the skiers with his ski-ing.

The Matterhorn Équipe was ill prepared for its introduction to new drinking games with appalling results as seen below. Week memorable because of unwanted contribution from Mark and his wife/mother (delete as appropriate) which incensed Sandy MacCalman.

Boarding This year was a bit of a mixed experience for the Équipe. Welcome to newcomer Dick Metcalfe who coped admirably with the ski-ing, and the company. Well done to Kate and Ewan - for being the only ones to ski Cervinia.
The experiment of putting Colin in a room of his own was a resounding success.
On the down side Campbell and George Penney, especially, were almost posted missing in the powder, and several of us went down with 'flu.

January, 2000 Campbell, Stuart & Ian Watson, George Milburn, Mike Hughes, Dr Tom Scott Tom Scott, Nick Sommerville, Dick Metcalfe, Derek Copeland With two fractures, new member Tom Scott was able to display his medical skills. Derek Copeland (also a new member), by returning one day, to watch the football on T.V. demonstrated the required level of committment!
