All those to whom I have spoken who saw the Pageant yesterday on Horse Guards Parade have said what a splendid occasion it was and how effective was the London Farden Society participation. It was equally a great privilege for us who took part to experience such a unique National tribute the like of which we shall certainly never see again.

I know how much thought, work, and generosity went into the contribution of each of our individual contributions and we achieved our objective in portraying the work of the Society over the whole of the 20th Century - the lifetime of our Royal Patron the Queen Mohther. Even the weather played its part superbly!

Your appearance and contribution were greatly appreciated.
