Toastmaster Testimonials
Hello Peter
Dear Peter
Just wanted to say a huge thankyou for being such an integral part of our day. You made things very easy for us, we knew we could leave the running of the day in your very capable hands, and it made for very relaxing time. We both had the most perfect amazing day and hope you had fun too. Steves mum was very well looked after, and you were a huge help with getting everyone together for photo's etc. The line up, the wedding breakfast, the cutting of the cake, the speeches, our first dance...the band.....it all went smoothly thanks to you. All of our friends and family have said how much you added to the day, and we hope there will be some referrals for you !
Many thanks and warm regards

I am writing to thank you sincerely for the way in which you conducted events and organised the guests at my daughter's wedding reception at Skinners Hall.
The prospect of having so many guests was quite daunting, but with your help everything went faultlessly. I am most grateful. No doubt we will meet again soon.
With best wishes

Dear Peter
I write to thank you for being the Master of Ceremonies at my Mayor Making Reception on Wednesday last.
The Mayoress and I enjoyed the evening immensely and its success was due in no small part to your presence. In spite of the chilly evening, everyone present seemed to enjoy themselves.
Thank you again.
Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Moore,
Just a note to thank you once again for your impeccable services as toastmaster at Alexandra and Simon's wedding on the 16th December at Stoke Park.
We found it so relaxing knowing that the "timetable" for the wedding breakfast and evening was under such excellent control and certainly appreciated how easy it could have been for the day to start to run almost "out of control" without your good time keeping.
Thank you for enabling us to enjoy the wedding as much as the Bride and Groom.
with very best wishes

May I thank you for your
attention to detail in making the Mayor's Ball run
so smoothly last Saturday. It was a thoroughly
enjoyable evening and, clearly, by the feedback I

themselves.

Thank you so much for your
tremendous work last night (Friday) doing the
honours at our (your) Association's grand dinner
function.
Quite apart from carrying out
superbly well the usual tasks of an MC your
knowledge of the ins and outs of the House of
Commons was invaluable throughout the
evening.
I hope you enjoyed yourself as
much as we did and I look forward to another
occasion when we can share your
expertise.

Dear Peter
I write to thank you
for the marvellous contribution you made
to the Nelson events that were organised
from my office.
It was certainly one of
the trickiest dinner menu's I have come
across! I thought you managed it all
exceptionally well considering our lack of
vocal expertise.
We did Nelson's memory
proud. Well done!
Yours Sincerely

Hi Peter,
I'm really sorry that it's taken so
long to get back to you to thank you so
much for the wonderful auctioneering that
you did for me last Wednesday at The
Vineyard. You were a complete star
and I know that the evening
really was helped by your
attendence.
I was quite shocked to have raised so
much money for The Royal Marsden Cancer
Campaign and in raising over 5,000, I have
already double the target that I was asked
to achieve.
With many thanks once again and I look
forward to see you again soon.
Best wishes to you.

Dear Peter,
I am writing to thank you for once again
being the auctioneer at one of my
fundraising events - namely the Charity
Dinner & Dance on Friday 11th March at
the Oval Banqueting Suite.
It was a successful evening and we raised
almost
£6,000.00 for the 'Mayor of
Lambeth's Charity Appeal'. This was
achieved with your help and I am very
grateful.
Thank you again for your giving your time
and support on the evening.
With best wishes

Dear
Peter,
Many, many
thanks for agreeing to act as Toastmaster
and Auctioneer at this year's Soho Ball.
Your support and professionalism was
invaluable and much appreciated by
everyone, and your commitment all the more
appreciated as you were suffering some
pain. We wish you a speedy recovery and
look forward to seeing again you
soon.
So far,
£5,380 was raised for the Soho
charities, to be distributed in the coming
weeks. This sum will provide six coach
trips a year for the Community Centre
members in specially adapted transport,
extra pre-school education for children at
the Soho Family Centre and help with
language skill resources for the Soho
Parish School. Something for the young and
old of the Soho community!
Once
again, many thanks and kind
regards,
Cindy

Dear
Peter,
A belated
thank you for acting so magnificently as
toastmaster at the Mayor Barnet's finale
at the Savoy, and ensuring that the
function was such a success. I do know
that you were not feeling 100% that
evening, so it was even more
admirable.
You may be
interested to know that the appeal to date
has raised about £270,000 for the
shooting star trust, and still
rising.
That is
certainly a record for a Barnet Mayor's
Appeal, and may in fact be a record for
any Mayor's appeal.
I enclose
a couple of photos as a memento of the
occasion.
Once
again, grateful thanks from both Cllr
Melvin Cohen and myself. Hope we meet
again on other happy occasions.
Yours Jill
Summers

of the Mayor of Barnet's appeal

Dear
Peter
David
Godwin's 65th birthday party, Floral Hall,
Covent Garden, 29th February. You were the
absolute linch pin of the whole party -
thank you so much for the splendid
organization, without lecturing, of all
our friends. I didn't think it would be
possible with some of them to finish
dinner in time for more than one dance -
but you got them down to dinner in plenty
of time to enjoy hot food - and a "hot
girl' springing from a cake!
Many many
thanks for your contribution to the party
which certainly seemed to go with a
swing.
Yours
Mary

Now that
we are back from our honeymoon in Thailand
and I am fully recovered from the loss of
my voice I wanted to drop you a line. On
behalf of Damon and myself i would like to
say a big THANK YOU for all your help and
support on our wedding day. We couldn't
have done it without you.
You helped
make it even more special from the moment
you announced the arrival of me and my dad
to the support and humour you provided in
the wedding breakfast.
Thank you
so much for organising our guests, and
keeping the best man, Justin (Rug), from a
severe attack of nerves, and also keeping
the day running so smoothly. We were so
impressed with your presence we and guests
thought you were fantastic. We were so
glad you were able to make it, the part
you played made it even more special.
Thank you
for supplying me with endless Lockets I am
sure that is what helped me through the
day (as well as the wine!)
I have
seen Chris Jeffery the photographer and he
is going to send you a photo as you
requested. I was very please with all his
photos but the one of us with you is
great.
Damon wore
his Welsh shirt last weekend when we
watched the rugby and Wales won, must be a
good omen, not sure what he will do if we
meet England in the next round!
We cannot
shower enough praise on you. Thank you
Peter.

will meet again.

Dear Mr
Moore
I just wanted to
write to thank you for your contribution to the
event last night at the Royal Opera House. Your
role in getting dinner going was invaluable. I have
never seen a group of guests sit down to dinner so
speedily!.....and all your Studzinski-ing certainly
paid off!
If we have occasion
to use a toastmaster at another of our events,
please rest assured that you will be the very first
person we call. I must apologise that no proper
outmess was provided for you. I assure you that
next time it will.
Many thanks

wishes
