London's
official town crier took a trip down
memory lane when he returned to walsall -
the town of his birth - after more than
half a century away.
Peter
Moore, who was born at Walsall Manor
Hospital 63 ago, visited the town centre
to promote the newly opened Yate's Wine
Lodge in Leicester Street.
Yate's
makes donations to his charity
fund.
Mr
Moore was born at the Manor in 1939 and
raised in Hammerwich until he was 7. He
then moved to Wales and later went to the
south east and had never returned to
Walsall before his visit yesterday. He
worked as an actor in London before
becoming official town crier.
