POSIES of flowers and apples were handed
over as payment as part of the colourful
annual Covent Garden rent ceremoy on
Wednesday.
The chairman and trustees of the Covent
Garden Area Trust, led by the Town Crier
paraded around the piazza with a jazz band
and took the token rent from tenants.
