The Wimbledon Guardian

Oyez, oyez, it's time we won the Championships

Merton's town crier will be ringing his bell for the next fortnight to welcome people to Wimbledon for the tennis. Peter Moore, who has also been the London Town crier for 25 years, is promoting the Borough of Merton. He will spend the next two weeks shouting the attractions on offer in Merton, including the theatre, the shops and village. He said:"I come here to ring my bell and tell everyone about the history of Merton
