The Westray Family

The Westray family I have traced is my family. Primarily from London, England, although branches extend to Nottingham, Dover, Kent, and to New South Wales, Australia.

The family history is based in London from George Westray (born 1757), and the vast majority of male members have been printers. Up to this point the tree is as accurate as possible. George’s father, Jonathan, is where the parish records become difficult to trace. It is possible that this is where the family moved to London, and using the records of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints, I have assumed that this is from Bridekirk, Cumberland. The tree from this point is therefore more speculative.
