Cotten Moore. This portrait always was in the upstairs hall at Maple Lawn as it
had been badly damaged when her nephews horse whipped it when it hung in the
front hall near where the buggy whips were stored.
Turner P Westray (d
1868) was the son of Samuel Westray and Sallie Bradford Turner. Turner and
Tillie married 1836.
