Wexcombe is a small hamlet nestling
in the Wiltshire Downs, on the edge of the Pewsey Vale, 7 miles
south of Hungerford, 10 miles south east of Marlborough, 70 miles
west of London. The manor is a friendly home full of character,
dating back to the 17th century, with oak beams and uneven floors.
The large garden with croquet lawn, swimming pool and tennis
court are available for guests. Liz is happy to prepare dinner
when ordered in advance, but a local pub serves excellent food.
There are some lovely country walks from the house up on to the
downs. |
