Twelve across lights (each clued as “One of the twelve”) contain the names of items with a common theme.  The solution to 8 down (lower diagram) provides a hint to their identities.  Each clue is in two parts, although the division may not be obvious and the punctuation may be misleading.  The first part of each clue refers to the upper diagram, and the second part to the lower diagram.
