Since we do grow most of the plants we sell, we offer a much wider range of unusal plants than is generally available in garden centres. Our commitment to growing and selling quality plants is there to be seen on each of our five garden centres and four nurseries.

Thompson's Garden Centres are informal, friendly places that rely heavily on the teamwork of our well-trained and knowledgeable staff. Indeed not only have we been awarded 'Investors in People' accreditation but last year we won the prestigious National Training Award, which has become the most influential barometer of training achievement in the UK. Although we employ over 150 staff we are still very much a family run company that believes in offering excellent and knowledgeable service.

Of course we not only sell a wide range of plants. We also stock all the usual garden requisites associated with any good garden centre, along with topical gifts such as Christmas decorations etc. And soon you'll be able to buy on-line from a huge range of gardening books and have them delivered to anywhere in the world!
