Reporting Match Results
Click onto your League Page , then onto the Weekly Activities Page for your Division.
Every match that is to be played and reported is listed in a series of weekly numbered blocks:-

The line above each block gives the date and Week number for the block. Note the parts of the line written in italics describe the report to be given.
It is in the form: League (Division) w# m# HGs HPs APs
Where:-
League (Division) is the approved abreviation
w# is the week#
m# is the match number shown in the box preceding the match to be reported
HGs is the number of games scored by the Home team - (1st team mentioned)
HPs is the number of points scored by the Home team - (1st team mentioned)
APs is the number of points scored by the Away team - (2nd team mentioned)

Format of match reports
To report the match Old Crown, Girton v Gate 'A', Saffron Walden.
where the Gate had won 3 games and scored 54 points, while the Old Crown had won 2 games and scored 47 points, use format:-
gkcam(2) w3 m4 2 47 54

To report three of the above matches, say matches 1,2 & 4 use the format:-
gkcam(2) w3 m1 5 65 30
    m2 3 54 36
    m4 2 47 54
To report another week, continue:-
  w4 m1 3 55 53
    m2 9 99 00     (See Forfeits )
    m3 0 47 65
    m4 1 43 62
To report another division, continue:-
gkcam(3)  w4 m1 2 51 55
    m2 4 59 38
    m3 0 27 65
    m4 3 56 53
To correct a report simply send the corrected score and add a "c" after it:-
gkcam(1)  w4 m1 3 55 59 c
Note: The "c" is added to let me know that the new score is a correction and not a typo!

To remove an incorrect entry send score as "-"s, thus:-
gkcam(1)  w4 m1 - -- -- c

Thus to correct a score reported as the wrong week, send:-
gkcam(1)  w4 m3 - -- -- c
  w8 m3 0 47 65

Note: No "c" is needed after the corrected weekly entry as presumably there will be no entry for w8 m3.

Some dos and don'ts
Do feel free to use capital or lower-case letters as you wish
Do feel free to space the report as you wish
Do use the abreviations given
Do make sure that the score for the Home team is that scored by the 1st team mentioned.
Don't give the number of games won by the Away team
Don't reverse these scores if the match is not play on the implied Home ground.
Don't give the date of the match
Don't change the week number if the match is played at some other date.

& never, ever, even think of mentioning a team name!
