The End! Well done! The play, Oedipus Tyrannus ends with Oedipus reluctantly escorted back into the house, while the Chorus reflect how a great man can have a correspondingly great fall. There will be a short interval before the next play. But if you want the sequel, you will have to wait about 25 years, until Sophocles returns to the Theban story, with Oedipus at Colonus.
