Wednesday 5th
TA East meeting: 11:am at Kilverstone in Thetford Garden Centre [TL891842] on NCN 13 & NCN 30.
Thursday 6th
Monthly meeting: we will meet at West Suffolk Pub of the
Year, Rattlesden Five Bells, from 1pm.
By 2pm, depending on rain, wind, & enthusiasm, we will
decide to stay where we are or cycle further afield. There is a
tentative plan of visiting the Walnut Tree in
Stowmarket … you never know, it might happen.
Monday 24th
V-CC Flat Section monthly meeting (Black bikes)—probably not Plan B.
December

Snow ride.
Wednesday 3rd
TA East
meeting at The Three Horseshoes,
Cockfield.
We assume this starts at 12 noon, because that’s
when the pub opens.
Thursday 4th
Monthly meeting: we will meet at West Suffolk Pub of the
Year, Rattlesden Five Bells, from 1pm.
By 2pm, depending on rain, wind, & enthusiasm, we will
decide to stay where we are or cycle further afield.
Saturday 13th
Cambridge Winter Ale Festival.
We'll probably go to this—Saturday looks like the best
day because, unlike on Thursday & Friday, it doesn’t close in the middle of
the afternoon.
Sunday 21st
A mole within the sub-committee tells us that this will be the date of our Annual Lunch at Combs Ford Magpie at 12:30pm.
Friday 26th
V-CC Flat Section Mick Madgett’s Boxing Day Ride
starts from Mick’s shop in Diss.
Mick will lead us on an interesting route to a pub open
for lunch.

Thursday 1st
New Year’s Day Ride to (probably) the Middy’s New Year’s Day Steam
and Light Festival. This is also the Thursday nearest to the full
moon, so it will take the place of our normal monthly meeting.
The Middy Bar will be open (and, if it’s bucketing down
with rain, you can avoid cycling: there will be a free bus from Stowmarket
railway station at 10 o’clock, 11 o’clock, and
½ past 12).

More information…V-CC Flat Section The Boot & Back
from Rattlesden Five Bells.
A speed-judging ride on a five-mile course with first
rider away at 11:01am. There’s also a cycle jumble on the pub’s
meadow before the ride.

before West Suffolk CamRA names a new PotY), Rattlesden Five Bells, from
