Theme of the Week: Asteroids from Outer Space
You have now
arrived at the pages for the week that ended Sunday 15 March
1998. Continuing the 'space' theme that we started the previous
week, this was the exciting week in which asteroid '1997 XF11'
was found to be on a collision course with Earth, hitting our
planet on 26 October 2028. A later analysis mysteriously showed
that it would miss by 600,000 miles.
