Two classes in a day where
the topic has been studied. A full day with one class where background
knowledge is needed - or a refresher if it was a while back you studied this. The session starts with a
dramatisation to get us all into the feel of the project we then move into
storytelling with the Loki myth and from this create a group story-poem. We
then move onto a series of individual poems IE Fears of a Fire-stirrer, Danegeld
I Pay etc. Pupils are given an individual name card for the period. As half day project Go
Viking! Can be offered with one of the other packages to fill a day and to
work with two different groups if preferred. All group poems are taken
away and returned to you either as a small book or as posters. |
