I am a highly experienced IT professional with over 22 years in the business. During this time I have mainly worked in the banking sector, and I have an in-depth knowledge of IBM MVS/OS390 plus experience of AS/400 systems. My work has involved systems analysis, software design, development, evaluation and implementation. I also have significant team leading and technical systems management experience. February 1977 - April 1986 A range of programmer, analyst/programmer and lead programmer roles with a software house in UK (1977-79), a software house in Australia (1980-84), and Legal and General Assurance (1984-86). Working primarily on IBM OS/VS and MVS running TSO/ISPF using COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DL/1 and FileAid. Some IMS-DB/DC (18 months) and some PL/1 (18 months). Systemsworked on were mainly financial or insurance. In particular I worked on system design and programming for the National Australia Bank developing two major systems - Term Deposits and Automated Branch Merger - both lasting approximately 18 months each, from 1982 to1984. |
