The Adriatic coastline of the Marches extends for over 160 kilometres and all it's provinces are on the Sea which has numerous attractions for visitors, the main one being the fine, smooth sands.

Sei Camini is approximately 40 kilometres from the Adriatic resort of Porto San Giorgio, a small, very Italian resort with a fine sandy beach and beach restaurants offering wonderful seafood and pasta dishes and ubiquitous ice creams.

On the border with the Abruzzi, San Benedetto del Tronto is renowned for its many tall palm trees - somewhere in the region of 7,000 - which provides an exotic air and some welcome shade.

Near Ancona and the promontory of Conero there are rocky coves where the seabed is visible through the clear blue water and hidden bays and small enchanting harbours which must be visited.

Known as the "velvet beach", the resort of Senigallia is a particular favourite and has been a tourist attraction since the 19th. century, it is without doubt one of the most renowned seaside resorts on the Adriatic coast with over 12kms of fine sand and a city steeped in history.

In the seaside resorts of the Marches there are excellent facilities for all popular water sports including wind surfing, water-skiing, sailing and, of course, under water fishing particularly at Ancona, Vallugola, Portonovo and Sirolo.
