Coghurst Gates, The Ridge, Hastings - pre-war |

Coghurst gates stood on The Ridge, Hastings, opposite Victoria Avenue. The iron gates were never replaced after the war, and when the Moon family moved out around 1950 the building was used to play in by the local children until it was finally demolished in the late 1950's to make room for a new East Kent Bus garage, the old garage being located in Victoria Avenue.
