- To encourage the pupils to genuinely believe that they can become worthwhile and acceptable
members of society via academic and social success and to prepare pupils for integration into further
education and society.
- To encourage each child to recognise his own problems and to work to address them through a relaxed
and supportive environment which emphasises care, control,security and responsibility.
- To emphasise the importance of an academic education. To use academic success to build up self
esteem and confidence to provide pupils with a platform post Breckenbrough.
- To provide the opportunity through a broad curricular provision to allow pupils to develop individual
talents, abilities and interests and to gain as wide a life experience as possible.
- To develop an active partnership between the pupils, the school, the family/guardians and outside
agencies.
