- Everyone must act with care and consideration of others. If you have problems you should go straight to a member of
staff (preferably your keyworker). If you feel you need to talk to someone else then you can phone Barbara Gardner on

- Know the Fire Drill for your unit and education block.
- Ensure you follow the Rules of Safety in the Craft Rooms, Science Labs, when playing sport or on Outdoor activities.
- Move quietly through the school building. There should be no running or shouting indoors.
- You should speak politely and not use bad language. You should try and be helpful to others, assist staff in a
supportive manner. Guests should be welcomed and looked after politely.
- You should go to the Great Hall or to lessons promptley when the bell goes and be in bed at the correct time. You will
be quiet when asked to be in Assemblies, the Dining Hall and in the classroom.
- You should help to keep the school clean and tidy. Rooms and bed space should be tidied in the morning. Litter should be
put in bins. Take great care of displays put on the walls. The building, furniture and other peoples property should be
respected. There should be no stealing.
- You should wash regularly and keep your hair neat and tidy. You must wear school uniform during lesson times (apart from
Outdoor Pursuits and PE). The only jewellery you can wear is a stud in your ear.
- You should not smoke. Help and support will be provided by Staff for those that want to give up smoking. Alcohol,
illegal drugs and solvent abuse are strictly prohibited.
- When in school, you must keep in bounds. If you want to go out of school you must ask the permission of a member of
staff. Out of school you are representing the school and should always be respectful to the general public and behave
appropriately.
- Through your good behaviour and achievements you are creating a school of which you are proud.
