Location

The walk takes place from the market place in the city centre.

How to get there

It is very easy to reach Vaasa by plane, by train or by boat. Contact the organisers or travel agencies for information.

What is the Vaasan Marssi?

The walk is arranged for the 4th time and it has been a full member of the IML since 1997. The dates of the year 2000 walk are 11th August to 13th August 2000 with the opening festivities on the 10th August.

Distances

Friday - Archipelago trip of about 15 km or the normal route of 21 km.
Saturday and Sunday: 42 km - 21 km - 10 km, one can choose between. To qualify for the IML award you will need to complete one of the first two distances.

The participation fee EUR 16,82. Archipelago fee EUR 16,82 + EUR 26,91(incl. transportations, meal, guides)
