Verdal is located in the southern region of Norway and borders Sweden.
I have not completed this walk and so cannot give any details.
1998 will see the 35th international two day walk taking place. The route also take the participant across the border into Sweden but this is specifically a Norwegian march. Although not part of the IML when formed, it was one of the first walks to be accepted into the IML calendar.
Distances covered are either 25 km or 35 km on the first day and 20 km (two different routes), or 35 km on the second day. You need to cover a total of 45, 55, 60 or 70 km to receive the IML award.
Start times are: 0800-0900 for 35 km, 0800-1000 for 25 km on first day and 0800-0900 for 35 km, and 0900-1100 for 20 km routes on the second day.
